Our Beginnings
The foundation of Olydoe is deeply rooted in small-town values, family influence, and a pervasive love for golf that has transformed over time and across places. Our Founder’s passion for golf began on a 9-hole course in rural Illinois and grew as he experienced golf's values in Chicago, Dallas, and around the world. Each chapter uncovered a deeper connection to the game and a growing dissatisfaction with modern golf apparel. His mother’s teaching career, particularly in sewing and embroidery, inadvertently shaped his appreciation for craftsmanship in apparel. The vision for something more genuine, combined with his respect for golf, led to the birth of Olydoe – a brand dedicated to craft, authenticity, and the spirit of golf.

Olydoe’s name and logo pay homage to the combined influences of Chicago and Texas – two pivotal stops in our Founder’s journey. The symbol blends the Chicago city flag with the Texas state flag, representing a fusion of tradition and innovation.
