From the beginning, the game of golf was carved out of nature, and golf’s best courses use nature to their advantage.

Think of your favorite courses or some of the nation’s greatest — they’re brilliant not just because of the quality grass or the condition of the greens. More often than not, it’s the natural elements that take your breath away at a beautiful course: The Georgia pines at Augusta, the limestone cliffs at Payne’s Valley, the Pacific ocean crashing into Pebble Beach.

The rhythm and the beauty of the game depend on the natural elements. Yet over time, what we wear to play drifted away from that world.

Most modern golf apparel is made from polyester. Polyester is born from plastic, shaped by chemicals, and mass-produced. It’s efficient, but it’s not natural.

It’s not how we believe golf should feel, so we built Olydoe differently.

Quality Fibers, Quality Product

At Olydoe, we willingly sacrifice speed and volume for higher quality. We build every piece from natural fibers — materials chosen with care for how they breathe, move, and remain over time.

Three of them define who we are:

Supima® Cotton

Often called the “cashmere of cotton,” Supima represents less than 1% of the cotton grown worldwide. Its fibers are longer, softer, and stronger. It doesn’t need bold patterns or loud colors to make its point. It simply feels better, wears longer, and gets softer with age.

Merino Wool

Nature’s most technical fiber. Merino regulates temperature, resists odor, and manages moisture better than almost anything made in a lab. It’s the kind of fabric that works as hard as you do — keeping you cool under the sun and warm when the breeze turns. It’s proven itself to be the standard.

Some things don’t need reinventing. Merino wool is one of those things.

TENCEL™ Lyocell

Made from sustainably harvested wood pulp, TENCEL™ is the subtle hero in the lineup. It’s smooth like silk, breathable like linen, and strong enough to handle a long walk on a hot day. Its closed-loop production process recycles over 99% of the water and solvents used — a small example of how innovation can serve nature, not fight it.

Together, these fibers prove that brands can lean on sustainable, natural materials without
sacrificing comfort.

There is a financial sacrifice, and few brands are willing to make it. We think it’s worth it.

Small Batch, Big Impact

Each Olydoe piece is made in small batches by American craftspeople who value precision over pace. Every stitch is intentional. Every texture earned. Because we believe the difference between something made and something made well is the care that goes into it.

We’re making golf apparel, so we want our process and our craft to reflect the game of golf itself. Golf rewards patience. It also rewards getting the small details right over and over and over again. So that’s how we go about crafting our clothes — with time, with attention to detail, and with the best materials we can source.

We use natural fibers because what we wear should pay tribute to the land on which we play.
